Open Educational Resources anchored on Richard Mayer's Multimedia Principles
These are the sample works from the Massive Open Online Course on Media and Information Literacy for the University of the Philippines Open University. The main premise is to create OERs that will help the learners digest the topics on Media and Information Literacy in a way that is less demanding on the learners' cognitive process and audio-visual channels.
The graphics, images, animation, and use of UP's brand colors should balance out the text in the modules. All of these samples are embedded in the digital course package for the course which I also created via Google Sites (check the link out for the full showcase of all the multimedia materials created for this project).
